60th Auction

The Jubilee Auction of the Auktionshaus Christoph Gärtner finished this Friday with many fine results in the various areas. Particularly high increases were achieved in banknotes, coins, Japan and the Baden section.

Our two special sections Ethiopia and Romania also recorded a very pleasing auction rate – especially the Romania lots, which were all sold.

The Collection sections have some remarkable results: a highly specialized Romania collection (lot 10861) was sold for 25,000 €, two Danzig postal stationery collections (lot 13951 + 13953) were sold for 5,800 resp. 10,800 € and the exhibit collection “The German Fieldpost 1937-1945” by Hans Dahl was sold for 15,000 € (lot 14029).
