Boston World Expo 2026

In 2026, Boston will serve as the global hub of philately for eight days when the twelfth International Philatelic Exhibition of the United States takes place at the impressive Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC). During Memorial Day week, from May 23 to 30, 2026, the city’s Seaport area will transform into a vibrant gathering place for collectors and enthusiasts of stamp art. This significant event will also be a festive highlight as part of the celebrations for the 250th anniversary of the United States.

Spanning a spacious, contiguous exhibition area of 352,000 square feet, visitors can look forward to a diverse array of attractions: a large dealer’s fair, an extensive postal administration marketplace, and a lively society presence. The program includes a prestigious FIP-competitive exhibition with approximately 3,500 frames, complemented by special and honor galleries, as well as a major FIP literature competition.

Throughout the event, over 40 meeting rooms of various sizes will host numerous gatherings, presentations, and workshops. The grand opening ceremony and the closing gala dinner with awards will be held in the elegant banquet rooms of the BCEC. For visitors coming from outside Boston, convenience is key: Logan Airport and Amtrak’s South Station are less than 15 minutes from the venue, and eight nearby hotels offer comfortable accommodation options.
