Collector’s Delight in Golden October: Over 10,000 Lots of Numismatics and Philately at Our Autumn Auction
As the leaves turn and autumn unfolds its special atmosphere, collectors enter a season of reflection and discovery. Just as nature reveals its treasures, the catalogues of Christoph Gärtner Auction House open the doors to rare gems in numismatics and philately.
From October 13 to 17, 2025, more than 10,000 lots across seven catalogues will go under the hammer. A true philatelic highlight is a special catalogue featuring the collection of Dr. M. Gaster: “Austria – Newspaper Tax Stamps”. Additional attractions include a Bavaria special section with over 200 lots, rare covers from the German Colonies, Argentine postal stationery, and notable items from the postal history of South America. A strong section of China philately completes the offer.
Numismatists and banknote enthusiasts will also be well rewarded. The auction includes rare pattern coins as well as an impressive Chinese gold coin, alongside a wide range of coins, medals, banknotes, orders, decorations, and other collectibles.
The auction will take place at our premises in Bietigheim-Bissingen. Collectors may bid in person, online, in writing, or by telephone.
