A small preview of the highlights of the 64th auction

At the 64th Auction of Auktionshaus Gärtner in February 2026, collectors can look forward to an extraordinary selection: outstanding postal and philatelic items from the great polar expeditions between 1899 and 1935, a prize-winning collection on the Warsaw Uprising of 1944 and its Scout mail, a specialized collection of varieties from early North Vietnam, as well as an extensive Swiss airmail collection.

Additional highlights come from China, India, and Germany. The auction is further complemented by rare banknotes from Denmark and Norway – a true feast for philatelists and numismatists alike.

The auction will take place at our premises in Bietigheim-Bissingen. Collectors may bid in person, online, in writing, or by telephone.
