As part of the 63rd auction of the Christoph Gärtner Auction House, a special charity lot will once again be auctioned on October 15, 2025, at 9 a.m. All proceeds, as in the previous year, will be donated to the Blau-Gelbes Kreuz e.V. (Blue-Yellow Cross), which supports Ukrainian orphans.

As part of the 62nd auction of the Christoph Gärtner auction house, a special lot was auctioned on 5 June 2025: a registered letter from Ukraine, sent in the midst of the war – and today symbolizing hope, resilience, and solidarity as a moving historical document.

We are delighted to be able to offer you an extremely attractive limited edition golden WIPA block from 1933 from Austria at the 61st auction. Issued in 1933, this WIPA block is presented in 900 fine gold. With a total weight of 159.7g and measuring 9.2cm x 8.4cm x 2-3mm, it belongs to a limited edition - it is number 249 of a total of 800 bars. An extremely attractive and top-class collector's item that will impressively enrich any large WIPA or Austrian collection.

A total of 88 provisional “1 Att.” on 64 Att. with the portrait of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) decorate this comparatively heavy-weight cover from Bangkok to London from 1895. It was sent by registered mail with advice of delivery (“A.R.”) and took around 4 weeks to reach London.
